ART CLUB
Moderator: Ms. Ann Pasteur
Art Club is an after school activity that is open to all students regardless of artistic ability. Meetings will take place on the third Wednesday of every month and run from 3pm to 5 pm. A new project will be worked on and completed at each meeting.

News
At our April meeting, students were taught about basic human proportions. Using wooden mannequin dolls as reference, students drew various sections in pencil, enlarging areas if desired. Once drawings were complete, students shaded their figures using chalk pastels. Students were encouraged to use bright, bold color when shading their mannequins. Once the dolls were colored, students were instructed to use a complimentary color for the background.
