  • BLS Career Information  From the Bureau of Labor Statistics, this site gives information about careers for students who like music/arts, science, P. E./outdoors, social studies, reading, and math.
  • Career InfoNet An excellent resource to explore a variety of careers.
  • Career Services: Interview Skills   From Western State College of Colorado, this site provides advice on preparing for, conduct during, and after the interview process.
  • Career Voyages  Provides information on careers that are currently in demand including the  required skills and education needed to get into the field.
  • Crime Scene Investigation   Enjoy the CSI television programs?  Want to learn more about being a crime scene investigator?  Then you must check out this site.
  • JobProfiles.org  Read hundreds of profiles of jobs submitted by those already working in the field.
  • JobStar  Find career guides for a variety of careers.  Also contains information on writing cover letters and resumes.
  • Occupational Outlook Handbook   From the Bureau of Labor Statistics, this is an excellent resource to find out statistical information on that dream career.
  • Student Jobs  This government site is a database of jobs for high school and college students.  There's also information about how to apply for a job and writing a resume.
  • What Can I Do with a Major In...   From the University of North Carolina-Wilmington, this site offers suggestions on career paths you can take with a variety of majors.

  • College and University Rankings  From the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign's Education and Social Science Library, this site can be a useful resource for identifying top colleges and universities.
  • College Answer   Provides the tools for students and their parents to get a head start in preparing for college.
  • College Board Online   Here you can find information about preparing for the SAT, planning for college, finding the right college for you, applying for college, and paying for college.
  • College Savings Planner   Contains an interactive calculator to help determine a plan to save money for college
  • Peterson's  Here you can find a lot of information on preparing for college, ACT & SAT exam preparation, financial aid and more.
  • Princeton Review   This is another great resource on how to choose a college, prepare for the ACT or SAT, get financial aid, and more.
