WHO WE ARE AND WHAT WE DO

We are Juniors and Seniors of Immaculate Conception High School

• Committed to our faith
• Committed to our school
• Committed to our community
• Committed to following Jesus through service

What we do:

• Bring enthusiasm and ideas to Christian Service
• Role model service to our fellow students
• Homeroom ambassadors to share service opportunities and assist fellow students
• Create and support school wide service projects
• Retreat Leaders for Freshman and Sophomore Retreats

HOW DO I BECOME A CHRISTIAN LEADER?

You may apply to become a Christian Service Leaders in the Spring of your sophomore or junior year to serve the following school year.   Current Christian Service Leaders need to reapply.  The application period will be announced during homerooms.  You will fill out a written application and return it to the Director of Christian Service.

Service Leaders will be chosen from a variety of criteria including:

• Their commitment to faith, school, community and following Jesus
• Past demonstration of service (number of service hours to date and variety and quality of service projects)
• Demonstrated potential for leadership during freshman and sophomore year either through class participation and/or leadership roles in extra-curricular activity
• Actively participates in school masses (sings, prays, & worships appropriately)
• Effective public speaking ability
• Availability and willingness to serve; we are looking for students who will make Christian Service a priority among their activities
• Acceptable academic and behavioral performance
