  • The Mint  An excellent source to learn about investing, saving, and budgeting. Written especially for middle and high school students.

  • NASDAQ Stock Market  This is the website for the National Association of Securities Dealers Automated Quotations (NASDAQ).
  • Truth about Credit   Here you can get information about  credit card traps, getting your credit report, and much more.
  • Wall Street Journal   The official website of the daily newspaper focusing on financial and investing news.

  • Better Business Bureau   Here you can check up on a company or charity to make sure it is in good standing before you use their services or donate money to it.
  • Consumer Action Website  This is a valuable resource for consumers including sample complaint letters, buying tips, credit card information, tips on protecting your identity and more.
  • Consumer Search  Not only can you find product reviews, but you can find reviews of product reviewers here! A valuable resource to use for when you are trying to figure out what brand to buy.
  • Epinions.com   Here you can view product reviews from other consumers.
  • FCIC: Scams and Frauds   The Federal Citizen Information Center lists alerts of scams, frauds, and consumer abuse here.
  • Household Products Database   From the National Institutes of Health, here you can find out what's in household products as well as what health effects there may be, and other important information.
  • Identity Theft Resource Center   Identity theft has become a big concern.  This site provides information about identity theft, laws, alerts about scams, prevention tips, and more.
  • Recalls.gov  Find out what products have been recalled because they are defective, unsafe, or hazardous.
  • Teen Consumer Scrapbook  This is an excellent resource about buying goods, saving money, finances, and more.  Developed by the Washington State Attorney General.
