Forms and Information for Incoming Freshmen
Thank you for your interest in Immaculate Conception High School. If you have an eighth grade student who is interested in applying to Immaculate Conception High School, we ask that you review the information outlined below.

Admissions
The Admissions Committee reviews each applicant on an individual basis. Applicants for admission must successfully complete eighth grade or its equivalent to be considered. Acceptance is based on a combination of the following factors:
- Performance on the high school entrance exam. Those who test at Immaculate Conception High School will be given priority in the acceptance process. Those who test on the make-up date or at another high school will be given secondary priority.
- Academic ability as demonstrated by the review of 7th and 8th grade report cards.
- Performance on 7th and/or 8th grade standardized tests.
- Teacher recommendations.
- Sibling of a current or graduated ICHS student or child of an ICHS graduate.

Timeline for Students Who Test at Immaculate Conception High School
- Completed Enrollment Application and $30 fee submitted at test.
- Academic Record Release Forms should be turned into grade schools/junior high schools no later than mid January.
- Grade school records should be received by ICHS no later than the end of January.
- Acceptance letters/course selection packets will be sent out in mid February.
- Financial Assistance Application due mid February.
- FACTS Grant and Aid Assessment Application due beginning of March.
- Tentative financial assistance awards available upon request at the beginning of March. Final financial assistance awards will be given in May pending verification of FACTS forms.
- Registration for incoming freshmen will be held in mid March.

Timeline for Students Taking the Make-Up Test at Immaculate Conception High School
- Completed Enrollment Application and $30 fee submitted at test.
- Make-up test held in the beginning of February.
- Academic Record Release Forms should be turned into grade schools/junior high schools no later than mid February.
- Grade school records should be received by ICHS no later than the end of February.
- Acceptance letters/course selection packets will be sent out in mid March.
- Registration for incoming freshmen by appointment.
- Students who have tested elsewhere should submit their test scores to ICHS along with the forms listed below to begin the Admissions process.

Forms
You may obtain a FACTS Grant and Aid Assessment Application in the High School Main Office or by going online to www.factstuitionaid.com to complete the form. The FACTS application needs to be submitted by March 1, 2010.
