• Sacred: Discover What We Share   From the British Library, this site explores the similarities between Judaism, Christianity, and Islam with videos, audio clips, and links to 78 sacred texts.

CATHOLICISM

• American Catholic  From the Franciscans and the publishers of St. Anthony's Messenger, this is an excellent resource on the Catholic faith.

• Catechism of the Catholic Church   The English translation of the second edition of the Catechism of the Catholic Church is presented online.

• The Catholic Encyclopedia    This online encyclopedia is from the 1913 edition.

• Catholic Online   Here you can get the latest Catholic news and learn about saints, angels, prayers, and more.

• Catholic Social Thought   Developed by Professor Joseph M. Incandela from St. Mary's College as well as an ICHS alum, this site contains many links about the Catholic faith including resources on ethical issues such as birth control, abortion, and capital punishment.

• Diocese of Joliet  The website for our diocese.

• New Advent   An excellent guide to the Catholic faith, (it hosts the Catholic Encyclopedia).

• Papal Encyclicals Online  An online guide to official writings of the pope and other Vatican documents.

• The Rosary   Learn about the Rosary.  Includes a link to a couple of good articles about the Rosary.

• United States Conference of Catholic Bishops   This is an excellent resource to find the Catholic position on a variety of controversial social issues.

• Vatican: The Holy See  The Vatican's official website.
