Board of Trustees
Serving as Chairman of the Board is Mr.
Charles Priester ’56. Mr. Priester is
Chairman and CEO of Priester Avaiation
where he helped develop and grow George J. Priester Aviation and Palwaukee Airport into one of the Midwest’s leading aviation organizations and airport. A pilot himself with over 20,000 hours of flight time, Mr. Priester has served on numerous aviation related boards. As a member of the St. Norbert College Board of Directors and Chair of the Advancement Committee, he successfully completed a $100 million capital campaign for the school. Charlie and his wife, Erika, make their home in Lake of the Hills, Illinois. |
Dr. Don Hoffman, M.D. is Vice Chairman of the Board and Chair of the Building Committee. He is also a member of the Board of Trustees at Elmhurst Memorial Health Care. After 36 years of caring for thousands of children in Elmhurst and the surrounding communities, Dr. Hoffman, a pediatrician and the Chief Executive Officer, retired in 2008. All eight of his children are graduates of ICHS. During his years as an IC parent, Don and his wife, Mary Ann, were active in the Parents’ and Booster Clubs.

Mr. Tom Ryan ’81 is a Group Senior Vice President at Cole Taylor Bank. Tom and his wife Mary Beth (Haggerty ’81) have two children who graduated from ICHS, one attending ICHS and two more at Visitation Grade School where he served as School Board President. A Chick Evans Scholarship recipient upon his graduation from IC, Mr. Ryan is also active with the Evans Scholarship Foundation.

Mr. John Howlett, Chair of the Public Relations Committee, is an attorney and principal of the Elmhurst law firm of Howlett & Associates, Ltd. Mr. Howlett has been involved in government, public affairs and Elmhurst community service for over 30 years. Active at ICHS for over 25 years, John and his wife, Joanne, have four children who are ICHS graduates.

Mr. Steve Remy is a principal with RVG Partners, LLC, a public accounting firm based in Oak Brook. Mr. Remy brings significant financial management skills to ICHS. Along with his wife, Terry, Steve has graduated four children from ICHS and currently have children enrolled in the high school and IC Grade School.

Ms. Francine “Sis” Greco can best be
described as a multi-talented go-getter possessive of an infectiously positive attitude. For the past 29 years, Ms. Greco has been Director of MG Concessions, the exclusive caterer and concessionaire for the Odeum Sports and Expo Center, both of which she is co-owner and operator with her family. She has served on a number of boards including the DuPage Convention and Visitors Bureau board. Sis and her husband, Bruce Campbell, reside in Elmhurst.

Mr. Tom Manion ’72 is Sales Director for GLCC Company. An ardent supporter of his alma mater, Tom and his wife Nancy have five children at various stages within IC high school and grade school. Mr. Manion serves on the Public Relations and Building Committees.

Mr. Gene Faut is the President and Majority Shareholder of 3D Exhibits in Elk Grove Village. The company designs, builds and manages custom tradeshow exhibits for companies throughout the United States and around the world. He and his wife, Tobi, are the proud parents of two boys, Jackson is a Junior at ICHS and Maxwell is a Freshman. |
Fr. Thomas Paul of Immaculate
Conception Parish, is an ex-officio member of the Board.
Fr. Tom comes to Immaculate Conception after serving as Pastor of St. Elizabeth Seton Parish in Naperville for the past four years. Along with a broad range of experience with other area high schools such as Benet Academy, Marian Catholic and Montini, Fr. Tom is also most notably a member of the Diocesan School Board and a member of the Diocesan Finance Committee (the DSB played a key role in the recent Meitler Strategic Initiative, which extensively studied the Diocesan schools). Fr. Tom is passionate about his work as a Liturgical Design Consultant as well. In this role, Fr. Tom has helped over 100 different parish communities nationwide that are planning new church/chapel construction or renovating their existing space.

Ms. Pamela Levar also serves as an ex-officio member of the Board. Ms. Levar is Principal of ICHS and is beginning her 33rd year of service to at the school. Throughout the years, Ms. Levar held numerous teaching, coaching and moderating positions. Prior to being appointed Principal eight years ago, Ms. Levar was the Assistant Principal/Dean of Students for fifteen years. She holds two Master’s degrees in the field of education.
