Enrollment

We serve families from over 30 communities in the suburbs. Our enrollment of 260 students and average instructional class size of 17 students enables us to provide individualized attention to every student. While we readily embrace students of other faiths, 95% of our student body is Catholic. Minority students comprise 22% of our population.

Location

The Immaculate Conception High School campus is located in the heart of Elmhurst, which is rated the #1 Chicago suburb by Chicago Magazine. Our central location and close proximity to major streets and expressways makes the drive to IC convenient from just about anywhere in the suburbs. The Metra West station is an easy three-block walk from our campus.

• 98% are continuing their education
• Over 40 % of graduates were offered an average of $56,500 in college scholarships
• Top 10% of Class of ’08 average ACT Score – 29 or higher
• Top 25 % of Class of ’08 average ACT Score – 26.9
• National Honors Society members - 16% of class
• Wendy's High School Heisman State Finalists - 2 (only 20 in state)
• Illinois State Scholars – 11% of class

One of Immaculate Conception's key goals is preparing our young men and women to face the life challenges they will encounter at the college level and beyond.  Over the years, our graduates have demonstrated that they can go as far as they choose, academically, socially, and professionally, because of their formative years at IC.
