ADMISSIONS REQUIREMENTS
Immaculate Conception High School does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, gender, national or ethnic origin in administration of its admissions policies, educational policies, athletic programs, scholarships and loan programs, or other school administered programs.
The Admissions Committee reviews each applicant on an individual basis. Applicants for admission must successfully complete eighth grade or its equivalent to be considered. Acceptance is based on a combination of the following factors: performance on the high school entrance exam, academic ability as demonstrated by the review of 7th and 8th grade report cards, performance on 7th and/or 8th grade standardized tests, teacher recommendations, sibling of a current or graduated ICHS student or child of an ICHS graduate. Notification of acceptance will be sent out in mid-February.

Admissions Timeline for the Class of 2014
January 7, 2010 Placement Test Pre-registration and Workshop
7:00 – 8:15 p.m.
Pre-pay test fee at Pre-registrarion - $30.00 (cash preferred) and
bring your completed Entrance Exam Enrollment Application.
Parent Financial Assistance Information Meeting
January 9, 2010 Class of 2014 Entrance Exam
8:00 a.m. – 12:00 Noon
Please arrive no later than 7:45 a.m. If not pre-registered, bring completed Entrance Exam Enrollment Application and pay test fee - $30.00 (cash preferred)
FACTS Financial Aid Packet, one-page Financial Assistance Application and Scholarship information in test folder.
Please bring two #2 pencils. Calculators and dictionaries are not allowed.
January 11, 2010
Bring Authorization for Release of Information form to your grade school to keep in your file. If applying for financial assistance, complete and submit the one-page Financial Assistance Application to the high school office.
Week of February 15, 2010 Acceptance letters/packets mailed.
Registration Night Information and Forms included
March 1, 2010 Financial Aid applications are due to FACTS by mail or on-line.
March 11, 2010 Incoming Freshmen Registration Night
Registration fee of $275 due (non-refundable). $125 of the registration fee is applicable to tuition for 2010-11.
Register for classes for 2010-11.
Sign up for Proficiency Tests if required.
April 1, 2010 Call your doctor to schedule your student’s ninth grade
physical for after June 1, 2010.
Updated immunizations and ninth grade physicals
will be due August 1, 2010.
June, 2010 Bishop’s High School Tuition Assistance
notification letters mailed from Diocese
June 1, 2010 Freshman Newsletter mailed –
Information on uniform discounts,
summer camps, school supplies, used book sale, etc.
August 1, 2010 Ninth grade physicals and birth certificates are due in the main office of the high school.
August, 2010 Freshman Get Acquainted Day - Date and time to be announced.
